About

Sustainable Fabrics
We believe that an industry that connects the entire world should do better for it. That’s why we’re redefining what it means to create with purpose.
Our company partners with marginalized communities in the Middle East, sourcing high-quality cotton goods that uplift artisans and sustain local economies. Every product we make is a testament to craftsmanship, resilience, and a commitment to ethical production.
More than just bags, our pieces are designed for longevity—timeless in style and built to last. With every purchase, you’re not just choosing a better bag; you’re choosing to support fair wages, sustainable practices, and a future where global commerce is a force for good.
Carry with purpose. Carry with impact.

Roberto Gutierrez
Roberto Gutierrez is a brand strategist, entrepreneur, and go-to-market expert with a proven track record of launching and scaling consumer products. Growing up in rural Colorado, he developed a deep appreciation for resourcefulness and resilience—qualities that have defined his career in the outdoor and lifestyle industries.
As a co-founder of Oru Kayak, Roberto transformed an innovative concept into a globally recognized brand, securing distribution with major retailers like REI, Costco, and Walmart. He later led brand marketing at Nathan Sports, driving 40% growth in his first year, and spearheaded the North American launch of Jack Wolfskin, one of Europe’s leading outdoor brands. Most recently, he has worked as a fractional CMO, helping companies refine their positioning, develop go-to-market strategies, and scale operations for long-term success.
Now, he’s focused on his next venture—applying his experience in product development, branding, and market expansion to the cotton goods industry, with a particular emphasis on high-quality, function-driven bags. With a deep understanding of what it takes to launch, grow, and differentiate a brand, Roberto is ready to bring something new to the market.

Robert and Erik Workman
Robert Workman has spent his life driven by a singular purpose: to help people and create lasting, positive impact. Growing up in a family of eight in Northern Wyoming, he learned the values of hard work, self-reliance, and service—principles that have guided his entrepreneurial and philanthropic journey.
From an early age, Robert’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident. His first venture at seven years old—selling popcorn in his neighborhood—sparked a lifelong passion for business and innovation. But beyond success, his true focus has always been on giving back. After founding and selling his first business, Provo Craft, he turned his attention to philanthropy, launching Tifie to empower marginalized communities through economic opportunity. His commitment to humanitarian efforts led to the creation of Goal Zero, bringing solar power to underserved populations worldwide, and Barebones, a company that connects people to the land through thoughtfully designed tools and shelters.
Throughout his career, Robert has built companies that blend purpose with profitability, proving that business can be a force for good. His philosophy is simple: Do good. Get good. When people are given the tools and opportunities to succeed, they not only improve their own lives but uplift entire communities.
Now, his son Erik Workman carries forward this legacy with the same dedication to entrepreneurship and meaningful impact. Growing up surrounded by innovation and service, Erik developed a deep appreciation for the balance between business and purpose. He has worked across multiple industries, leveraging his expertise in product development, branding, and strategy to build companies that stand for something bigger than themselves.
Together, Robert and Erik are committed to creating businesses that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and redefine how brands engage with the world—not just through great products, but through a mission that matters.
